Lactose-Free Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Shake

If you’re like me, you’re Lactose Intolerant and can’t drink any of the delicious whey protein shakes that are out there. It’s too bad too, because whey protein choices seem unlimited. A collective tear has dropped for us dairy challenged folks. Let’s not get into all the rest we can’t consume.

So I’ve tried many dairy-free protein powders, hated most, but I settled on Unflavored Soy Protein Isolate from Vitamin World. I also liked Naturade’s Unflavored 100% Soy Protein Booster for this recipe, but I stopped using it. Not because it didn’t taste good, I actually loved the taste. It came down to delivery problems with those drivers in brown. The best part, it tastes delicious and takes about 10 minutes to make.

Here’s the recipe:

8 ounces of Chocolate Almond Breeze Almond Milk
1 scoop of Unflavored Vitamin World Soy Protein Isolate Powder
1 tablespoon of Hershey’s Cocoa 100% Cacao Unsweetened Powder
2 tablespoons of Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter
7 ice cubes from a regular tray (less or more cubes depending on how thick you like your drink)
